About The Founder & Principal Officer
At just twenty-something, Khris Fields has been honored with some of the nation’s and state’s most esteemed awards—including the United States Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and the Presidential Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medals from the Executive Office of the President of the United States. He is also a recipient of Seven U.S. Congressional Laureates of Service—recognized through Special Congressional Recognitions for outstanding and invaluable service to the community. Additionally, he has received official recognition from the Texas House of Representatives and a proclamation from the Governor of Texas—who appointed him an Honorary Admiral in the Texas Navy. Khris has been further honored with proclamations from the mayors of Houston and Manvel—as well as a certificate of recognition from the City of Pearland. He has also received official honors of merit from a Houston City Council member and a Harris County Commissioner. Furthermore, the City of Houston, Texas—the Energy Capital of the World—has even dedicated a day in his name, acknowledging his exceptional achievements.
In addition to his government accolades, Khris was awarded the Robert L. Frost Award by the Houston Independent School District for his positive impact on local schools. He was named the 2023 Inspirational Man of the Year—and continues to be recognized for his leadership, service, and dedication to his community. Khris’ journey has been featured on national television, in magazines, and on FM radio stations. Khristopher Fields founded the Wise Up to Rise Up Foundation to give underserved youth a real chance to overcome their challenges. By connecting them with strong community leaders and mentors, the foundation equips young people with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to break free from negative influences. Serving communities where over 85% of students live below the federal poverty line—many from backgrounds marked by parental incarceration or domestic violence—the foundation is dedicated to helping these kids build a better future and find their own path forward.
About The Board President
Darius, originally from Zion, Illinois, moved to The Woodlands, Texas, at a young age, experiencing a significant cultural shift that helped shape his resilience and adaptability. Diagnosed with dyslexia upon entering the Texas school system, he worked hard to understand his learning style and excel academically. He attended the University of Houston-Downtown, where he balanced leadership roles and a full-time academic workload, ultimately earning a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, a minor in Human Resources, and a certification in Entrepreneurship.
His professional journey began at Chick-fil-A, where he spent nine years, eight of which were in multi-unit leadership, winning top awards and building high-performing teams. After successfully optimizing operations, he transitioned into financial services, founding his brokerage under Global Financial Impact. Passionate about retirement planning, Darius educates families on financial growth strategies, empowering them to secure their futures.
Darius serves as the President Of The Board Of Directors for the Wise Up to Rise Up Foundation, collaborating with founder Khristopher Fields to develop leadership programs and community-driven initiatives that equip youth with the skills needed to thrive. He believes in pushing past comfort zones, defining success as the ability to achieve personal growth while helping others reach their full potential.

Dorian Jordan, or 'MJ' as friends call him, is a vibrant inspiration not only at the University of Houston but also in broader circles, earning recognition through multiple notable awards. Alongside his studies, he's deeply involved in uplifting his community through Wise Up to Rise Up Foundation, where he serves an instrumental role as Co-Principal Officer and Financial Specialist.
With a camera in hand, MJ captures the essence of life's moments, bringing out the beauty and authenticity of his surroundings. He's not just skilled behind the lens; MJ's also an award-winning licensed barber, using his talent to groom and mentor those in his chair. MJ's impact doesn't stop there. He's a dedicated mentor, lending an ear and guidance to young minds, and a filmmaker, using storytelling to shed light on important social issues.
Through his various roles, MJ embodies compassion, creativity, and resilience, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encounters.
